Groundwork

This Side of Sober Website Banners (2).png

This is where the emotional work takes root—where insight turns into real change.

Groundwork is a coach-led, virtual group support experience for women in recovery. It complements your facility’s existing structure—whether that includes therapy, 12-step meetings, or in-house curriculum.

It’s a space, not a system—a consistent touchpoint for clients to reflect, reset, and reconnect with themselves in real time. This is where the emotional work happens between therapy sessions. Where insight becomes integration. Where clients start to ask, “Who am I becoming now that I’m sober?”.

Groundwork is built on the This Side of Sober support model—an approach known for intimate, coach-facilitated groups that prioritize emotional safety, presence, and consistency. We bring the same integrity and ease of delivery to boutique programs that want something deeper for their clients—without creating more work for their team.

What Makes It Different?

Groundwork groups don’t feel like appointments or obligations. These groups are designed specifically for women. They’re small, safe spaces where clients can show up exactly as they are—without pressure to perform or say the “right” thing. The conversations are honest and grounded in real life, guided by a coach who knows how to hold space without taking it over. Participation is intentionally limited and offered by request, so the space stays contained, familiar, and consistent.

For clients, this isn’t a system to follow. It becomes a steady, familiar space that supports emotional continuity between sessions.

The Value of Coaching

Therapy helps clients look back. Meetings provide accountability. But recovery also requires a place to live in the present—where awareness becomes action and insight becomes integration. That’s the untapped space where coaching belongs.

Groundwork is not therapy, and it does not replace clinical care. It’s designed to support clients who are beyond the crisis phase of early recovery and are ready for reflective, present-moment support alongside the care they’re already receiving.

By weaving coaching into your program, you give clients a forward-facing layer of support that helps them practice who they’re becoming in real time. It’s not about replacing therapy or meetings—it’s about filling the gap between them. This is where presence, consistency, and compassion combine to move clients from understanding into actual change.

The Investment

Rather than a flat rate, Groundwork is priced as a monthly investment tailored to your facility. The goal is simple: to provide steady, coach-led support your clients can count on—without creating extra work for your team. Costs reflect both the consistency of delivery and the intimacy of the groups, while allowing room for flexibility based on your program’s size and scope.
